Long before there was a book or a website, there was Glitter the Globe—a dream born from a lifelong habit of looking for light, especially when life felt dark. One morning on the beach, I scribbled those three words on a piece of paper, tucked them beside a tiny Eiffel Tower and globe, and took a photograph. I didn’t know where the dream would lead. I just knew I wanted to make the world a little brighter.
I believe each of us carries a divine spark that no job title, challenge, loss, blunder, or opinion of the world can extinguish. Glitter the Globe is my little corner of the world for helping us notice that light in ourselves and in one another. Spark by spark, we can bring light to the dark by living from the divine nature we were born with. You are here on purpose, for a purpose.

I’m a girl on a mission to encourage everyone to find their light, be that light, and then
shine their light on others.
For most of my life I experienced my share of challenges. I know I don’t hold an exclusive on that, but I also know that I only know my own story. I spent more than three decades in public service, 25 of those years as the Palm Beach County Attorney. Along the way, through life and my day job, I learned a great deal about
people and the ways of the world.
After years of defining myself by what I did, I began discovering something far more important: who I am as a child of God, created with a divine spark, on purpose and for a purpose. It had nothing to do with what I did or had. This belief is the foundation for Glitter the Globe®.
I’ve always been a seeker of meaning—the extraordinary hiding inside the ordinary, the lesson tucked inside the mess, and, yes, the glitter hiding in the litter. My superpower is seeing the big in the small.
Beyond the titles given to me by the world, here’s how I’d answer the “who are you truly deep-down inside?” question: I’m a writer, reader, devote Catholic, volunteer, beach lover, Francophile, and an appreciator of bubbles—both in a bathtub and a glass. I’ve made it this far in life without ever tasting a single drop of coffee, firmly believe in the healing power of daytime pajamas, and have yet to meet a pair of shoes I couldn’t find room for.
I divide my time between Jupiter and Paris with my best friend and husband, Joe, and our
three beloved toutous, Cocoa, Lillie, and Oscar.
I hope to leave people a bit lighter than when I found them—and if a little glitter happens to follow, all the better.
